Gallery of Alice Dardaneliotis

Alice had a love for the visual arts since childhood.  It started with simple sketching before moving to acrylic paints and then trying a hand at oils.   She proceeded to take art subjects in High School and entered into art competitions becoming recognised, however like many other artists, financial commitments and family became priorities.  

An opportunity arose for Alice to re-enter the art scene where her passion for painting became a primary ambition once again, entering art exhibitions such as the Sydney Royal Easter Show, selling her works, painting commissions and relishing in sharing her knowledge with the adults and children who have the same passion.  

She has taught in various community centres, The Nepean Creative and Performing Arts High School, her home studio, directed the art facet for a school fete and tutored privately.  She has had many unique opportunities and had a broad base of students.

Her influences and inspiration from a variety of sources, such as Australia’s unique landscape colours to absorbing world renowned artists’ styles.  Light, colour and perspective mixed with emotion create their own individual piece of work.  Relating places to historical events or times provides a small window into someone’s soul.
