Children Classes
I am sure your child will enjoy the relaxed, friendly and encouraging atmosphere of art lessons with me at the Society. I teach Watercolour, Acrylic and Drawing techniques. Classes are small, the children are aged from 8-17 and range in ability from beginner to advanced. My aim is to show them the techniques, tools, and tricks to unleash their creativity, develop their drawing and/or painting skills and find their own style. They do not need to have previous experience in painting or drawing, they will learn as they go. They are required to bring their own equipment and I will provide a comprehensive list in the first week.
Classes are held between 4-6pm on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday during school terms and are based on a 10 week term. It is also a requirement of the Nepean Art Society that the children become members at a once per year cost of $30 per student.
NOTE: Margaret's classes are compliant with child safe procedures and Margaret has completed all the credentials under the "Working with Children" requirements. Margaret is an approved and registered Creative Kids Provider and will accept Creative Kids Vouchers. She is also fully insured.

Adult classes
Margaret runs Adult classes on Tuesdays. Oil and Acrylics in the morning and Watercolour in the afternoon.

Adult Classes: Watercolour A class is held on the first Saturday morning of each month. Cost: $25 per lesson. Jeff has painted since young and has increased his art practice since retirement. He has completed training at TAFE NSW and through private tuition with established artists. He has been successfully exhibiting art work for many years and has won many awards. He has conducted lessons and workshops for a number of Societies. Suitable for beginners and the more experienced. |
